Arriving from Orange Airport (for taxi phone 131 008)

Exit terminal and turn right.(you should see a sign indicating this being the
direction
to Orange)
Go 1.1 km and turn left (you should see a sign indicating this being
the direction to Orange)
Go a further 1.0 km and turn right following the bitumen road.
Proceed a further 7.5km when you will reach a Tee junction. A railway line
should be on your right.
Turn right at this Tee junction & cross over the Railway line at the
Level Crossing.
Then go 300m or so & take the second street on the left (which is named Elsham
Street)
Proceed another 300m or so & take the second turn to the right which is
Dairy Creek Road. There is
a line of tall pine trees alongside the left hand side of this road.
Then go 400m or so & take the first turn to your left which is named Kurim
Avenue.
Follow this road until you reach a Tee junction after some 600m or so.
Turn left onto this road which is named Lone Pine Avenue.
Travel about 800m going past one roundabout and you will reach a Tee junction
with the Orange to Bathurst Highway.
Turn left and then immediately right at the traffic lights from the right-hand-turn lane.
Continue along this road - which is Lone Pine Avenue - leaving the Ford/Nissan
car yard on your right and Prime TV buildings on your left
Proceed onwards along this road (which changes name from Lone Pine Avenue to
Wakeford Street) & straight across a 'Stop' controlled intersection with
Icely Road.
Proceed along
this street (Winter Street) to the T
junction. The sign in front of you indicates 'Bed & Breakfast 9km' to the right.
Turn right at this T junction into Ophir Road.
Continue for 3.5km or so - going straight across at the roundabout.
Here you will see a sign indicating a right hand
turn
to 'Ophir 21 via Lower Lewis Ponds'
Take this turn to the right..
Continue along this road (Banjo Paterson Way) for a distance of 3.5km.
Slow down, continue on a short distance and take the next turn to the right -
into Strathnook Lane - which
occurs on a slight crest in the road.
There is, too, a sign at this junction which reads 'ABBY LODGE'. From here lookout for Kangaroos!!!
Continue slowly to the very end of this road (2.2km) going over the crest of
a hill & steeply downwards to a T Junction.
Follow the bitumen turning first left at the T Junction and then immediately
right through the first entry on the right.
If the sliding gate is closed stop and press the red call button on the intercom console
or phone 6365 1231
or walk down the road to the building
Proceed when the gate is fully opened*.
Continue to drive slowly (obey speed limit signs & watch out for wildlife) for 400m and you are
at Abby Lodge. Park in front of the main entrance.
